Two ways to test
That's why AquaDENTAL gives you two ways to approach dental waterline testing.
In-office dental water screening

AquaDENTAL NOW uses a vial-based screening format to provide defined CFU ranges, giving your team quick visibility into the microbial quality of the waterline being tested.
Screen in your practice. Read the result. Record it.
R2A Mail-in dental water analysis

AquaDENTAL LAB provides laboratory- based analysis, digital reporting, and a documented result your practice can retain with its waterline records.

AquaDENTAL is backed by I-2-I Solutions, a water quality testing and services company supporting healthcare facilities, federal agencies, and other mission-critical environments.
I-2-I Solutions operates an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory and provides laboratory analysis for dental water applications, including heterotrophic plate count (HPC) testing. Our laboratory also participates in the CDC ELITE program for Legionella testing.
We bring that laboratory experience into a product experience designed specifically for dental pros.
Learn more about I-2-I SolutionsThe 500 benchmark
For routine nonsurgical dental treatment water, CDC recommends meeting the EPA drinking-water standard of ≤500 CFU/mL of heterotrophic bacteria... but this number isn't the whole story.
Your equipment, water-treatment products, maintenance procedures, sampling locations, applicable requirements, and manufacturer instructions all matter when establishing a waterline monitoring approach. CDC recommends consulting the dental-unit and water-treatment-product manufacturers regarding appropriate monitoring methods and frequency.
AquaDENTAL helps you understand where your water stands.
